May 1, 2013 - Oct 30, 2013Located in the Savanna State Forest, is managed by Savanna Portage State Park. The 20 campsites are all considered "primitive," designed to furnish only the basic needs of the camper. The campsites consist of a cleared area, fire ring, and picnic table. Vault toilets, garbage cans, and drinking water are available. Hay Lake campground offers a swimming beach and water access to Hay Lake. Many of the campsites are located lakeside and have access to hiking trails.

From Jacobson take St. Hwy. 65 south 2.5 miles. Turn left on 657th Street. Continue east for 3 miles and then the road T's. Turn south on 170th place which leads you 1 mile into the campground.
