Seven newly remodeled family vacation cabins and a new lodge with quiet scenic grounds nestled under large pine trees. We have a great beach, new playground, and plenty of activities to provide you with that relaxing north woods getaway. Located near Marcell, Minnesota 25 miles north of Grand Rapids on scenic Highway 38, our family resort occupies 28 beautiful acres on the crystal clear shores of North Star Lake and is surrounded by the Chippewa National Forest.Kokomo Resort offers seven lakeside cabins that are fully equipped with modern conveniences and decorated with a cozy northwoods decor. Each cabin is fully furnished with everything you need for a week at the lake including air-conditioning, updated appliances, kitchenwares and bedding. We take great pride in the cabins we offer and, therefore, we keep them exceptionally clean and are constantly in the process of updating and adding on. Best of all, our cabins offer beautiful views of North Star Lake from either their decks or large windows.North Star Lake is exceptional because of its scenic beauty and wide variety of fish…and the fishing is excellent. North Star Lake has great walleye fishing but also offers outstanding fishing for muskie, northerns, crappie, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, perch and bluegill. North Star Lake provides over 1,000 acres of great fishing, nature and water recreation.Kokomo Resort offers plenty of activities for kids and adults to enjoy while not fishing.
