Houseboat vacations in Voyageur's National Park. We offer and build the newest style houseboats in Minnesota. We base on the Ash River, which is the central entrance to the National Park. From the Ash River the entire southern portion of the park can be visited from western Kabetogama to eastern Crane Lake. This area contains water fed by springs. So cool, clear and pure you can drink right from the lakes. Namakan is truly a magnificent body of water which does not "bloom" in summer so you can have the fun of bathing on many secluded beaches, yet remains warm enough to swim and water ski in the vacation period of July and August.Voyageurs National Park was created in 1971. This park was designed for the canoeist, boater who must camp to appreciate its unspoiled beauty. What better way to re-create the "Voyageur" fur traders route. The park is over 100 miles long and the southern lakes are very well-protected with thousands of islands and bays. Only 17 miles from our base you may visit famous Kettle Falls Hotel where Namakan Lake spills into Rainy Lake.Our boatel houseboats have been designed with the guest in mind. Single level sleeping areas, modern amenities, extremely clean and well-maintained for a trouble-free vacation. We are proud to offer the largest rental houseboats in the midwest.
