Welcome to our Grand Victorian Bed and Breakfast, the oldest surviving lumber baron's home in historic Stillwater.
All guest rooms are exceptionally large and have working fireplaces, private bathrooms, and double whirlpool tubs. Enjoy a leisurely four course breakfast in the Dining Room or savor your breakfast ensuite (same menu).
Whether celebrating an occasion or just getting away, we offer the opportunity for retreat while enjoying comfort, class, and convenience. Built in 1878, this towering four-story lumber baron's mansion still retains the finest in victorian design: ornately carved oak fireplace, interior shutters that fold in 18" thick walls, and two stately towers with magnificent views of the St. Croix Valley. Each guest room is spacious and quiet, with private baths. Our rooms have whirlpool tubs and fireplaces. The large double parlor is yours to read, relax or play the grand piano. Our four-course breakfast awaits you in the formal dining room or you may choose to have breakfast brought to your room.
