Located at the base of Lutsen Mountains, you are just a two minute drive from Lake Superior. The Sawtooth Mountains rise nearby and the Poplar River, an easy walk away, cascades through the valley and down to Lake Superior.

The Inn is located at the base of the Lutsen Mountain Ski Area, the largest downhill ski resort in the Midwest and a favorite destination for downhill skiers and snowboarders. Summer visitors can walk to the nearby Tram for a ride to the top of Moose Mountain with its fabulous 360 degree view while the Alpine Slide offers visitors the chance to ride a chairlift to the top of Eagle Mountain where they can take an exciting ride down the track.

The Inn provides a great base for those wanting to access the many activities Cook County has to offer. Nearby area activities include hiking, biking, fishing, sea-kayaking, the Boundary Waters, canoeing, golf, downhill skiing, snowmobiling.
