Using the Control Bar in the Map

The map that shows the locations of the items that you have saved to your Trip Planner includes a control bar at the top left to help you fine-tune the appearance of the map. The following chart details each of the functions available in the control bar.

Map Panning Controls

This control is used to pan the map. Clicking directly on the arrows will pan the map up, down, left or right.

Clicking between two arrows will pan the map diagonally.

Map zooming controls

This control zooms the map in and out. To continuously zoom in and out, click and hold on an icon.

2D and 3D controls

This control toggles the map between two-dimensional and three-dimensional view. The three-dimensional view requires downloading and installing the 3D plug-in from Microsoft®*.

Note that the 3D plug-in may not function in Mac operating systems.

*Since this plug-in is a direct download from, and provided by, a third party outside of EMT, EMT cannot assume responsibility nor be held liable for any computer system issues that arise from downloading and installing a plug-in from a third party.
