Year-RoundFogerty Arena in Blaine is used for all ice sports including hockey, broomball, figure skating, speed skating, public skating, open hockey and private rentals. Fogerty Arena also has a fully equipped off-ice training area specifically designed for training hockey players.
Fogerty Arena is a full service, 2 sheet ice arena. Both ice sheets are NHL regulation size, 200’ x 85’. Seating capacity is 2000 in the South Rink and 300 in the North Rink. Fogerty Arena provides full service concessions, vending and skate sharpening and we can staff and host virtually any ice sport event. We are the home arena for the Blaine and Spring Lake Park High School Hockey programs for both the boys and girls and we are also the home of those same 2 youth hockey programs.
Fogerty Arena hosts 45-50 high school hockey games and 100’s of youth games each year. We are the current location for the MIAC Fall Showcase, and also host an additional 10-12 tournaments per year, including the Midwest Selects, both boys and girls, the Caribou Cup tournament. Coming in March of 2012, Fogerty will host the Minnesota Hockey State Tournaments for girls at the U-12 and U-14 levels. In past years we have hosted everything from the WCHA Women’s Final Five to NHL Alumni games and more. We have also hosted several state and national figure skating events and competitions.
