From the mind of Chris Rupp, founder of "Home Free" and the “Chris Rupp Project,” comes a brand new vocal quartet --- 7th Ave. --- that is forging a new identity in the music world. Coming together in 2016, each member has a unique musical and performance background, allowing for exciting possibilities. Combining elements of pop, swing, rockabilly, country, and much more, 7th Ave is aiming to reinvent and uproot the standard definitions of all of those genres through their innovative arrangements and fun music videos. 7th Ave doesn’t want to pursue just one set and defined musical genre. They have a lot of heavy vocal harmony in their songs, which lends itself well to both country and jazz, but they have such strong and diverse musical backgrounds that they can create a rich blend of styles. Check out their videos reinventing songs like “No,” “Hallelujah,” “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” “Uptown Funk,” and their “Millennial Medley” --- all on their first album "Debut."

“If there is anyone truer to the music and spirit of Johnny Cash, you’d have to prove it to me.” – Jamie Winpenny, Honolulu Weekly

The best Johnny Cash Tribute show on Earth! The Church of Cash doesn't just introduce the song and then play it, they excite you. The band brings you along on a electric journey of songs you know and love with the rock-n-roll attitude that keeps you wanting more!

Jay “Jayder” Kalk formed Church of Cash in sunny Honolulu back in 2010. With an uncanny grasp of the Man in Black’s catalog and many years of experience touring the United States, Europe, and Asia, Jayder has returned to his Minnesota home to spread the gospel of one of the world’s most important and enduring songwriters.

The Church of Cash is true to the music of Johnny Cash, and singer Jayder’s deep baritone voice sings like a prairie breeze and stomps like a boot heel. Church of Cash is not a country band. Church of Cash is a tribute band with the express purpose of honoring the indelible legacy of Johnny Cash. Road-tested and always road-ready, The Church of Cash is celebrating the soul of American music.

The Looney Lutherans are a trio of wacky gals on tour promoting their new cookbook and “lifestyle guide”: USE YOUR FOOD. A GUIDE TO HEALTHY LIVING INSIDE AND OUT, FROM OUR KITCHEN TO YOURS, EAT LIKE A LUTHERAN!

Using music, comedy, and some help from the audience, these gals share some age-old wisdom for living a long and healthy life, the Lutheran way. (But you don’t have to be Lutheran to love ‘em!) Performances include a variety of segments on healthy living, including discussion of the Lutheran “Food Wheel” (all roads lead to hotdish), a performance of the Lutheran Food Rap (“Eat Like a Lutheran”), and a demonstration of exercising “the Lutheran Way” (using products from your very own pantry, you can create a healthy body).

The idea for the “Looney Lutherans” was cooked up in 2006 when the founding members were appearing in the cast of the hit musical CHURCH BASEMENT LADIES at the Plymouth Playhouse in Plymouth, MN. The company has since expanded to include two additional “Loonies”, but all of these talented women have been performing for years as professional actresses, writers, singers, and improvisers. As the Looney Lutherans they have appeared together around the country at County Fairs and Festivals, Mother/Daughter Banquets, Red Hat Gatherings, Hospital Fundraisers, Member and Customer Appreciation Events, and at Women’s and Senior Expos.

All material is comedic, interactive and family friendly.
