From the mind of Chris Rupp, founder of "Home Free" and the “Chris Rupp Project,” comes a brand new vocal quartet --- 7th Ave. --- that is forging a new identity in the music world. Coming together in 2016, each member has a unique musical and performance background, allowing for exciting possibilities. Combining elements of pop, swing, rockabilly, country, and much more, 7th Ave is aiming to reinvent and uproot the standard definitions of all of those genres through their innovative arrangements and fun music videos. 7th Ave doesn’t want to pursue just one set and defined musical genre. They have a lot of heavy vocal harmony in their songs, which lends itself well to both country and jazz, but they have such strong and diverse musical backgrounds that they can create a rich blend of styles. Check out their videos reinventing songs like “No,” “Hallelujah,” “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” “Uptown Funk,” and their “Millennial Medley” --- all on their first album "Debut."

Kat Perkins grew up in Scranton, North Dakota surrounded by a family of musicians and quickly knew at a young age that performing is what she wanted to make her life career. After seeking as many opportunities as she could, including spending several summers as a main act on the Medora Musical stage, Kat followed her undeniable drive and passion for performing and moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota to pursue music on a more professional scale. She quickly gained the attention of the local Twin Cities music scene by taking stages in the several projects and bands she formed over the years. The most successful being her rock band, Scarlet Haze, which went to open for Bon Jovi, amongst working with some of the music industry's most well known acts. After a hiatus from performing due to vocal surgery, Kat made a musical comeback in 2014 by auditioning and appearing on season 6 of NBC's The Voice. Kat turned 3 chairs during her blind audition, charted in the top 5 on iTunes several times with her stand-out performances on the show, and sailed to the finals with help from her coach, Adam Levine. Being on The Voice brought new platforms of success and opportunities Kat's way. She's since gone on an average of two military tours per year to perform for the troops overseas, sold out venues across America with a variety of themed performances and tours, and began going into schools to speak to students about following their dreams, living a Fearless life, and making a positive impact on the world. The praise Kat received from these presentations even led her to begin a nonprofit foundation, The Rising Star Foundation, providing scholarships and opportunity for aspiring musicians while also giving back to the local community. Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, Jamie Wooten

THE STORY: In this hilarious, fast-paced comedy, the inhabitants of one of the smallest trailer parks in Texas—four doublewides and a shed—are thrown for a loop when they realize the nearby town of Tugaloo is determined to annex them. But these friends, enemies, and neighbors realize they’ll have to work together to defeat the encroaching annexation if they—and their way of life—have a snowball’s chance to survive being swallowed up by “the big guys.” The rollicking mayhem of this flat-out funny Jones Hope Wooten comedy escalates as the residents attempt to secede from Texas, discover a traitor in their midst, and turn the tables in a surprising and side-splitting finale. So grab your Stetson and come on over to Doublewide, Texas, where life is double the fun, double the joy, and where audiences double over with laughter!

The Looney Lutherans are a trio of wacky gals on tour promoting their new cookbook and “lifestyle guide”: USE YOUR FOOD. A GUIDE TO HEALTHY LIVING INSIDE AND OUT, FROM OUR KITCHEN TO YOURS, EAT LIKE A LUTHERAN!

Using music, comedy, and some help from the audience, these gals share some age-old wisdom for living a long and healthy life, the Lutheran way. (But you don’t have to be Lutheran to love ‘em!) Performances include a variety of segments on healthy living, including discussion of the Lutheran “Food Wheel” (all roads lead to hotdish), a performance of the Lutheran Food Rap (“Eat Like a Lutheran”), and a demonstration of exercising “the Lutheran Way” (using products from your very own pantry, you can create a healthy body).

The idea for the “Looney Lutherans” was cooked up in 2006 when the founding members were appearing in the cast of the hit musical CHURCH BASEMENT LADIES at the Plymouth Playhouse in Plymouth, MN. The company has since expanded to include two additional “Loonies”, but all of these talented women have been performing for years as professional actresses, writers, singers, and improvisers. As the Looney Lutherans they have appeared together around the country at County Fairs and Festivals, Mother/Daughter Banquets, Red Hat Gatherings, Hospital Fundraisers, Member and Customer Appreciation Events, and at Women’s and Senior Expos.

All material is comedic, interactive and family friendly.
