Take a Walk on the Wild Side- Wild Rice Festival

    3rd Street
    Park Rapids, MN 56470
    Call: (701) 230-9047

This year's Wild Rice Festival is made possible by the Nemeth Art Center, Downtown Business Association (DBA), Park Rapids Lakes Area Arts Council (PRLAAC), Essentia Health, Park Rapids Lakes Chamber of Commerce, Bemidji Brewery and Recycling Association of Minnesota. Our goal with this celebration is to promote regional artists, musicians and the authentic wild rice unique to our region of the world.

This year's event will host an open mic stage were area musicians and festival goers can share a song, poem, thought or story.

Attendees to the event will have a chance to purchase, taste and learn about the different strands of wild rice found throughout the region, along with how this resource is harvested and the different ways wild rice can be processed.

This festival will connect local ricers with a larger customer base in hopes of growing the market for the the authentic wild rice found in the Park Rapids region.
