Part of the original "Big Woods," this park is known for its spring wildflowers, large hardwood trees, and fall color. Take the boardwalk trail or hike to Hidden Falls. The best way to see the beauty of this park is on foot, on 13 miles of hiking trails. In winter, enjoy 8 miles of mostly intermediate level cross-country ski trails, 5 miles of snowmobile trail.

  • Directions to Facility / Event: Take I-35 to State Highway 19 east into Northfield. Go south on State Highway 3, east on State Highway 246, then turn right onto County Road 29.

  • Additional Date Information: Book an online reservation 24 hours a day. Phone reservations can be made by calling 866-857-2757 (TTY: 952-936-4008) between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily November through March, and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily April through October. Call Ctr closed holidays.
