Year-RoundA water-recreation enthusiasts' haven! Sturgeon Lake chain (4 lakes) plus Side Lake, Pickerel Lake, Beatrice Lake, and other small lakes provide endless opportunities for swimming, boating, fishing and sailing. Picnic tables, fire rings, and picnic shelter on Sturgeon Lake. 18 miles hiking trails, 12 miles horseback and mountain bike, 9 miles cross-country ski and 12 miles of snowmobile trails. The park is also the midpoint of the Taconite State Trail.
