Located from Grand Marais NW on Co Rd 12 (Gunflint Trail) 43 mi to Gunflint Lodge, 44 mi to Gunflint Pines, 45 mi to Hestons Lodge, or 47 mi to Cross River Lodge. Trails run through hilly region surrounding Gunflint Lake, skirting frozen lakes and winding through moose yards and over steep slopes. Connects with Banadad and Central Gunflint trails, making over 175 km total ski trail.

Directions
From Grand Marais drive inland on the Gunflint Trail (County Road 12) for 43 miles. The trails all start off County Road 50 which is the side road that leads to Gunflint Lodge, Gunflint Pines and Heston's Lodge.
