    The Cass County Fair is an annual event held at the Cass County Fairgrounds in Pine River. It features a full array of 4-H entries and activities, a moto-cross race, ATV and Pick-up Mud Runs, Kiddie Tractor Pull, Talent Show, Commercial displays, a kid's inflatable amusements park and much more! It is a free fair with free general admission and free parking!

    The Pine River Art Show is an annual event featuring Pine River area artist's work. Art items are both for sale and for viewing. Art includes landscapes, wildlife, murals and more. The event is sponsored each year by the Pine River Art Club. Demonstrations and seminars are conducted during the three day show. It is held at the Warehouse Community Center in Pine River. Admission is free to the public.

    The Pine River Duck Races are held each Friday, June 20, 2014 through Friday, August 15, 2014 at the Pine River Dam in downtown Pine River. The "racing ducks" are really decoys, not live fowl. Ducks are rented for $1 each and prizes are given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each race. A "Grand Duck Off Race" is held each Friday for the Grand Prize. All ages are welcome to race a duck!

    The Pine River Heritage Days is focused around the newly restored Pine River Railroad Depot which has been added to the National Register of Historic Buildings! Other events include a Hobo Stew Feed at the Pine River Information Center, adjacent to the historic Pine River Railroad Depot and an Historic Encampment featuring historical displays, tepees, fur traders and more!

    Pine River Summerfest is a entire community festival with many civic groups and organizations taking part. Included are arts/crafts displays, parade, duck races, Lions Pancake Breakfast, softball tournament, 5K Fun Run/Walk, Legion steak fry, sidewalk sales, food fair and more! The 2014 Summerfest will be held June 26, 27, 28 & 29.
