    Sunday, June 15, 2014 in downtown Little Falls (yep … Father’s Day – bring Dad!)

    We’re shutting down a section of downtown to motorized traffic and inviting all to come on out and play in the streets (think street Yoga, live music, bicycle tours, walking and running groups, basketball, skateboarding, contests, food, chalk art, kiddie parades, pets… and more!)

    The 22nd Annual Field Days, Swap Meet and Auction will be held at the Morrison County Fairgrounds the first weekend in May. There will be food, music, daily prizes and much more!

  3. HCC Rock 'n Run

    The 6th annual Healthy Communities Collaborative (HCC) Rock 'n Run is a family-friendly, fund-raising event which supports the vision of the HCC. The day includes a bike rodeo, a 5K and 10K run/walk, a kids 1K & 3K race, concessions, a health expo, and more activities for kids including inflatables. There will be medals awarded for top finishers in all the races!

    Visit the upper Midwest largest Arts & Crafts Fair with over 500 exhibitors of unique handmade items. Exhibitors are located in our historic downtown area on the banks of the beautiful Mississippi River.

  5. Little Falls Dam Festival

    Monday, June 16th the Dam Festival Medallion Hunt will begin. Visit Monday thru Friday, where a new clue will be posted daily by 9:00 a.m., for a total of five clues. The medallion is located within Little Falls city limits and on public property. It is not buried or inside a building. Destruction of property is not necessary. Anyone can participate except: Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union employees, volunteers and their families. The finder must present the medallion to staff at Mid-MN Federal Credit Union during business hours for verification of the medallion. The finder of the medallion will win $500 to be presented at the Dam Festival on Friday, June 20. Event is sponsored by Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union.

    The Little Falls Dam Festival features free entertainment sure to delight guests of all ages. Friday, June 20, 2014 activities include a Dam Sidewalk Sale and street dance featuring the Loss for Words.

    Saturday, June 21 will begin with the Dam 2 Dam Bike Ride. The Dam 2 Dam Bike Ride will start at 8:00 a.m. at LeBourget Park in Little Falls. The route will follow Great River Road past Lindbergh State Park to Blanchard Dam, across the Mississippi, and back into Little Falls via Hilton Road. Refreshments will be served at Blanchard Dam. The total route is about twenty miles long. The ride is free, but any donations will go to the LFCVB in an effort to help make Little Falls more bike friendly (signage, designated lanes, etc.).     Family activities include a parade on Saturday June 21, 2014, a family Carnival and a petting zoo.

    After a day of family fun entertainment and activities, you can sit down and relax on the banks of the serene Mississippi River and enjoy the spectacular fireworks display.

    The Little Falls Dam Festival also includes activities for kids and adults! A variety of food vendors will be present.

  6. River Rat 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run

    Come and join us in the beautiful Belle Prairie Park nestled among some of the largest Red Pines in the area. The start area is along the Mississippi River and has a picnic area and playground. The 5K course is on asphalt. It is certified, flat and fast. We also encourage you and the kids to participate in the 1/2 mile Fun Run which is free and open to anyone.

    Great t-shirts, refreshments, drawings, prizes, and quick results make our race one to put on your calendar. All Walkers welcome.
