May 6, 2013 - Oct 16, 2013The Edna G. was the last coal-fed, steam-powered tugboat in operation on the Great Lakes. Built in 1896, the tugboat served Two Harbors until 1981 with the exception of being seized by the U.S. government for two years during WW1 and converted for saltwater duty. In 1974, she was designated a National Historic Site. She was fully restored in 1994.
