    North Woods No. 1, the Forest History Center's recreated 1900s logging camp, comes to life under a blanket of snow during this yearly event. Join the camp crew as they get ready to celebrate Christmas in the logging camp. The program includes choral singers, storytellers, sleigh rides, hot chocolate, cider and more. Bring your camera to get your picture taken with Santa.

    Kids can experience the challenge of cooking at a logging camp in the 1900s. They'll learn how to prepare foods like "cold shuts" (donuts), "sweat pads" (pancakes) and pies using recipes and ingredients that would have been used in a historic cook shack.

    Revel in a winter wonderland of family fun outdoor activities including trolley or sleigh rides, sledding, snowshoeing, making snow sculptures and a snow fort, and launching snowballs and water balloons with a giant slingshot. Guests can also tour the logging camp under winter conditions and join a wildlife show and play games in the visitor center.
