Built between 1905 and 1908 for Chester and Clara Congdon, Glensheen is an architectural and decorative arts masterpiece. With room after room of exceptional original furnishings, artwork, and family treasures, this magnificent 39-room mansion offers a dramatic slice of opulent life at the turn of the last century. Tour the Historic Congdon Estate including over 7 acres of manicured landscapes with formal gardens, carriage house with carriage collection, gardener's cottage, boathouse, clay tennis court and more. Completed in 1908, Glensheen is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Hours: Summer Season: May 27 - Mid Oct, Open Daily 9:30am-4:00pm. Winter Season: Mid October- End of May, Open Saturday & Sunday 11am-2pm.
Admission is charged.
