    The Charles A. Lindbergh Historic Site shows its appreciation to the community for its support with $1 admission all afternoon. Tours of Lindbergh's boyhood home will be available. Learn how Charles developed interests in aviation, technology and the natural environment while touring the Historic Home and visitors center.

    Learn about young Charles Lindbergh from the people who knew him best. Costumed interpreters portray tenants of the Lindbergh family farm from 1901 and into the 1920’s. Learn about Charles as a boy, his family and his life on the farm. Characters include Gustav Gertz who lived in the tenant’s house from 1917-1918, Mary Hannah Stevens who lived on the Lindbergh property from 1906 to 1913 and worked the farm with her husband, and young Lindbergh’s mother Evangeline.

    The years following the First World War saw flying take off as business. Flying became a bigger feature of life all around the world, not just as a novelty "adventure" for rich people but as a mode of transport available to just about anyone. Film starts at 7 p.m. The museum and gift shop are available for a short time before and after the film screening.
