In honor of the 100th Anniversary of the Soldiers & Sailors Civil War Monument on the grounds of the Washington County Historic Courthouse, a new exhibit will be installed this June 2017, entitled, “Life as a Civil War Soldier: The First Minnesota and Company B”. The exhibit will focus on local Civil War heroes from Stillwater and Washington County. Follow the stories of these brave men as they are mustered into service and fight on the battlefields of Bull Run, Antietam and Gettysburg. Join us for the grand opening of the exhibit on Saturday, June 3rd from 8:00am-4:30pm while we honor these heroes and celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Historic Courthouse.
