Six buildings are in the complex, the main building has Renville County history, including a display for each town in the county and extensive resources detailing the U.S.-Dakota Conflict of 1862, which began in this area. Other buildings on the site include a log cabin dating back to 1869, a country school, machine shed, woodshed, St. Johns church, and a school house that has been converted into a showcase of glassware.
