    The two winners of this year’s Dakota Valley Symphony Young Artist Competition will perform with the symphony:

    • Maria Chirinos, Violin Concerto in E minor (1st movement) by F. Mendelssohn.
    • Catherine Carson, Violin Concerto in G minor (3rd movement) by Max Bruch.
    In addition, the Health Sciences Orchestra of the University of Minnesota will join in the Symphony No. 2 by Jean Sibelius, a Finnish composer and violinist.
