    Journey to the South Pacific, the newest feature in the William L. McKnight-3M Omnitheater, takes viewers to the lush tropical islands of remote West Papua, where life flourishes – both above and below the sea. Home to more than 2,000 species of sea life, West Papua features the most diverse marine ecosystem on Earth. Viewers meet a young boy named Jawi, who will share his love for his island home. He leads viewers on a journey to encounter whale sharks, sea turtles, manta rays, and other iconic sea creatures. Narrated by Academy Award-winning actress Cate Blanchett, Journey to the South Pacific celebrates the relationship between an island culture and its environment and highlights the importance of living in balance with our ocean planet.
