Although balancing a tourist-dependent economy with environmental preservation can be challenging, the Central American country of Belize has been able to strike a balance by promoting ecotourism within its borders. Join us as we discuss how the country has progressed in the last 20 years to become a powerful resource for experiential learning for college students and other life-long learners. We will explore the format of a typical student study group as they tour the country to visit the rainforest, coral reefs, and educational farms of Belize.

Our indoor wall offers over 35 routes ranging from beginner to expert (5.4 - 5.12). The 30 foot wall has various features including multiple overhangs, cracks and a chimney. If you are new to climbing, our staff will be there to provide belay services and ensure safety and success. If you have previous belay experience you can be tested by one of instructors to become belay certified and then may belay others. Eagle Bluff will provide harnesses and helmets. Climbing shoes will be available if desired, but tennis shoes work fine. Personal climbing shoes are allowed, but please refrain from bringing in any other outside equipment (i.e. harnesses, chalk, belay devices).
