Situated on the banks of the Mississippi River, the 610-acre Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park offers visitors the chance to see our Nation's greatest river up close. The West Coon Rapids Dam Visitor Center features fascinating displays about the Mississippi River, including aquariums featuring local fish and turtles. Visitors may also picnic, hike, or fish from the river shoreline.

Directions

  • Directions to Facility / Event: 1 mi north of CR 30 on West River Road. From Hwy 610 take Noble Pkwy north to 97th Ave, go right (east) to CR 12 (Russell Ave). Turn left and head to park entrance.
