  3. Civilian Conservation Corp Hiking Tour

    As a work relief program of the Great Depression, the Civilian Conservation Corp (CCC) employed young men to work on projects that benefited conservation and natural recources. Projects included constructing beautiful stone buildings in many of Minnesota's state parks, including Fort Ridgely State Park. Take a walking tour of the grounds to learn about the history of the CCC and what life was like for these young men.

    The New Ulm Battery will be at the Fort to celebrate Father's Day! Come on out and bring your Dad or someone special. The New Ulm Battery will be there to educate visitors about black powder and fire off a few rounds.
