  • Winona is 2 hours south of Mpls - one hour east of Rochester. From Mpls, take Hwy 61 so. From Rochester take either I90 or Hwy 14 to Winona. WSU is located in the center of town - University banners will lead you down Huff Street to campus.

    The Great River Shakespeare Festival (GRSF) is a nonprofit, professional Equity theatre company in Winona, MN, dedicated to dynamic productions of Shakespeare’s plays, extensive education and community outreach programs, and comprehensive theater training. 2017 plays are "Richard III" and "Comedy of Errors". Festival events are continuous throughout the season with Concerts on the Green, symposiums, conversations with the company and more!
