Year-RoundThe forest and bog habitat of Red Lake Wildlife Management Area is home to boreal and bushland species of animals, including deer, bear, wolves, ruffed and spruce grouse, black-backed woodpeckers, and Connecticut warblers. This is a great area for birdwatching, berry picking, canoeing, and hiking. There are approximately 50-60 miles of walking trails. Maps are available on the internet site.
