Year-Round

Kellogg-Weaver Dunes contain a rolling and dune topography on a terrace where the Mississippi, Chippewa, and Zumbro rivers once came together. Some dunes are 30 feet high. Midsummer is a good time to observe the rater yellow-fruited sedge and Ottoe skipper butterfly amongst the grasses and wildflowers. It inhabits one of the largest populations of the rare Blanding's turtle.
