The Orwell Wildlife Management Areas' habitats include reservoir, wetlands, riparian areas, brushy grasslands, and planted juniper. Birds to look for include the Common Loon, waterfowl, Bohemian Waxwing, Long -eared and Northern Saw-whet Owls, and Townsend's Solitaire. The best times to visit are April through June, and August through October.
