The park boasts lovely and distinct gardens: shade hostas, over 200 perennials, 4,000 daffodils and an expanded Japanese garden. During the spring of 2011 Enger Tower you will see extensive restoration and new lighting funded by a grant from the Duluth Rotary Club 25 of Duluth.

History will be made on October 17, 2011 with the Enger Tower re-dedication and visit of King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway. King Harald's father, King Olav, dedicated Enger Tower in 1939.
