    Travel the Mississippi River Trail (MRT) through Minnesota for seven days of bicycling. Starting at the Headwaters in Itasca State Park, we are welcomed by many river communities as we pedal our way to LaCrosse, Wisconsin where we board the Amtrak for our sunset ride back to St. Paul. This is a camping tour with a mid-trip hotel stay. Hotel option available. Approximately 480 miles, averaging 68 miles/day from August 23rd – 30th.

    Join Wahoo! Adventures and other adventurous women for a seven day, six night bicycling trip starting at the Headwaters of the Mississippi in Itasca State Park ending in Grand Rapids. Of the seven day trip, four days will be spent bicycling for a total of 135 miles. Follow the Mississippi river from its humble beginning as a creek in northern Minnesota to the roaring falls in Minneapolis. See Paul Bunyan, wild rice via a canoe, eagles, and loons.

    This is a hotel/lodge tour with one night pampered camping next to the river, August 13 – 19th.

    Bicycle: 4 days and 135 miles
    *Dip your tire in the mouth of the Mississippi

    Come with us to see some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere. We'll ride north from Duluth with Lake Superior off of our shoulder until we reach Grand Marais.
    Special highlights on this tour include: Gitchi Gami Bike Trail, Split Rock Lighthouse, and Gooseberry Falls.

    Your tour ticket includes lodging Sunday through Thursday; most meals; sag wagon support including bottled water, fruit and snacks. Alcoholic beverages are not included.
