Shopping in Minnesota
Minnesota knows how to shop and we’ll show you where! In fact, Minnesota has made shopping history. The first enclosed mall in the U.S. was Southdale in Edina. The country’s hippest discounter, Target, was founded in Minneapolis in 1962. And Mall of America is the largest indoor mall in America. Add to that several outlet malls, antique shops, charming Main Street shopping statewide, and urban shopping districts, including Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis and Grand Avenue in St. Paul.
