Arts & Entertainment

Travel Category Photo

The sheer number of theaters in Minnesota and theater performances throughout the state fills the annual calendar with arts culture. The preeminent Guthrie Theater and other impressive Twin Cities stages are joined by outstanding community theaters in Lanesboro, Bemidji, Plainview and others that contribute to the critical mass.

Beyond the stages, modern art and various other genres are displayed at contemporary art galleries in the Twin Cities and outstate.

Arts organizations throughout Minnesota also have arts centers and art galleries that feature the work of regional artisans.
