Green Travel

Green Travel Ideas

The untouched wilderness is part of what makes Minnesota incredible. These are the settings where eco-friendly travel comes naturally. Paddling the Boundary Waters (BWCA) or tracking wildlife and birds at one of the state’s wildlife refuges are great ways to travel green.

You can also visit Minnesota communities, many of which have self-guided walking tours, and make an additional contribution by dining at one of the many state restaurants that feature regional cuisine prepared with local foods. Or opt for low-impact activities like backpacking the Superior Hiking Trail or camping in a State Park. Adventure travel and eco-travel tours are perfect fits in Minnesota.
