Ride the Timber Twister at Spirit Mountain

Spirit Mountain's Timber Twister keeps the alpine fun alive over summer at this Duluth skiing and snowboarding destination. Individuals or pairs can ride a coaster car for a thrilling 6-7 minute ride down the hillside on elevated tracks with hairpin turns. Riders can slow things down with brakes, or go for broke with speeds up to 26 m.p.h.

On the return trip uphill, riders can enjoy views of the woods and Lake Superior that were a blur on the way down.
