A city that continues to establish itself as a premier sports and entertainment destination, Minneapolis will be the back-to-back host of the ESPN Summer X Games. Headquartered at U.S. Bank Stadium, the largest event in the young stadium’s history will take place July 13-16, 2017, and July 19-22, 2018. The hand rails and stairs of the Medtronic and U.S. Bank Stadium plazas are the defining obstacles that athletes will need to conquer in hopes of taking home medals, prize money—and ultimate bragging rights.

Entertainment and music are embedded in the roots of both the X Games and the state of Minnesota. Three world-class musical acts are slated to perform in between competitions: rockers A Day to Remember, EDM sensation Flume, and Minnesota’s own Atmosphere.

Two events—BMX vert and skateboard vert—will kick off the festivities on July 13 with free admission. General admission tickets for Friday-Sunday start at $20; multi-day and “XIP” packages are also available.
