Campbell’s Lodge is a family oriented resort featuring 17 newer upscale cabins with one to five bedrooms. Choose a cabin with digital cable TV, wireless internet, a dishwasher, ceiling fans, fireplace, screen porch, or air conditioning to have the comforts of home. Larger groups will love our three newest cabins with beds for 14 people, 2 complete bathrooms, beautiful kitchen with maple cabinets, large living room area with 16’ high vaulted ceilings, 3 season porch, and patio. Enjoy the air conditioning in the summer or the in floor heat and large fireplace in the winter.
Although Sand Lake is known for its walleye fishing, our guests bring home northern, perch, largemouth, smallmouth, crappie and panfish from this fishery. The resort has excellent docking facilities with electricity at each slip and is located on a calm bay of the lake. Bring your own boat or rent one of ours. Pontoons, resort boats with 15 hp motors, deluxe boats with 40 hp motors, canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats are available. The indoor fish cleaning room is equipped with ample counter space, sinks, electricity, and a large freezer. For those wanting to try the big water on a calm day, we are only five miles from access to Lake Winnibigoshish.
Relax with a rootbeer float in our lodge or soak up some sun on our natural sand beach while the children play in the water or on the playground. The lodge offers video games, pool table, toys, books, and puzzles for your entertainment. Hard serve ice cream, ice cream treats, pizza, soft drinks, draft rootbeer, cappuccino, gourmet coffee, nachos, and snacks are served. For your convenience we carry a limited supply of grocery items, ice, bait, tackle, and gas.
Our organized weekly activities start with a guest reception and fishing seminar. Children’s games, contests, and programs along with family activities provide something to look forward to each day. Choose to pack your day with activities, fishing, swimming, water-skiing, basketball, lodge games or choose to sleep in, read a book, work on a craft, or lay on the beach.
