Lake Louise State Park is a mix of woodlands, savanna, and meadows on the eastern edge of the tallgrass prairie biome. The lake is a historic mill pond located at the confluence of the Upper Iowa and Little Iowa Rivers. The park is home to a variety of wildlife and some beautiful wildflowers.
