The "lake which speaks" is a dominant feature of this park. In fall, thousands of geese descend on the lake, bald eagles perch on nearby trees and deer are a common sight. Fishing is popular year-round and the area is rich in Minnesota history. 6 miles hiking; 5 miles cross-country ski trails.
