On the shores of this large lake, visitors enjoy quiet sunsets and excellent walleye fishing at the source of the Minnesota River. The drive along the lakeshore, through the apple orchards north of Ortonville, is especially beautiful in the fall. 1.5 mi hiking trail. Semi-modern camping with sanitary facilities, swimming beach, boat launch with dock. Visitors also enjoy the park's native prairie and bird watching opportunities.
