Canoe rental brands include Wenonah, Souris River and Bell kevlar models as well as Alumacraft and Grumman aluminum model. The Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) of northeastern Minnesota, along with Canada's Quetico Park just to the north, encompasses over two million acres. This vast wilderness lake region is completely void of roads, resorts, and private cabins.Canoe Country Outfitters is conveniently located in downtown Ely. We also maintain a private canoe base on Moose Lake. From these two locations we are able to quickly service all area entry points. As a full-service outfitter we provide complete or partial ultra light outfitting, lodging before and after the trip, shuttle service, free trip routing. Canoe rentals include Grumman aluminum, Alumacraft, and kevlar models by Wenonah, Souris River, and Bell. We'll take care of securing your BWCA or Quetico entry permit once we receive your trip dates and outfitting deposit. A brochure and map of route suggestions will be mailed upon request.
