Discover La Crescent - Apple Capital of Minnesota! Drive up Apple Blossom Scenic Drive. Enjoy apple blossoms in spring, fresh apples in summer and spectacular fall colors. Visit apple stands, gift shops and enjoy a meal at a local restaurant. Celebrate Applefest the third weekend in September. Nestled in the bluffs along the beautiful Mississippi River in southeastern Minnesota, La Crescent is known for its beautiful apple orchards and spectacular scenery.
Apple Blossom Scenic Drive has one of the most beautiful scenic overlooks in Minnesota. Enjoy the fall foliage in fall and the blooming apples trees in spring. La Crescent offers something for everyone any time of the year.
La Crescent also provides an opportunity for boating, fishing, bike and ski trails.
La Cresent's Apple Festival is held annually during the apple harvest. There's entertainment, Golf Tournament, Orchard Tours, Chicken-Q, Pancake Breakfast, Arts & Craft Show and Flea Market. Children love the Big Wheels Races, "Apple Idol" and the Carnival. People travel for miles for the King Apple Grande Parade on Sunday!
