LAKE BENTON boasts of downhill skiing and snowmobiling at nearby "Hole in the mountain" County Park. The historic Lake Benton Opera House hosts several dramatic and musical productions. Specialty shops provide "things to do" in this scenic lake area. The Buffalo Ridge large wind power project surrounds Lake Benton. IVANHOE celebrates their Polish heritage at Polska Kielbasa festival the second weekend in August. Visit the historic County Courthouse, also gardens in the village located at the crossroads of highways 75 and 19.
