Year-RoundLong Prairie is a great place to visit and stay, for information please call the chamber. Long Prairie has something fun for everyone. Long Prairie is the home to the County Seat of Todd County.
It is a must that you visit the Todd County Museum. We also have the Christie House Museum which was built in 1901 by Dr. George Christie. Special features of the interior are beautifully stained glass window, hard maple floors, collection of 1500 books.
Other fun things to do and see in Long Prairie:
*Lake Charlotte-swimming, fishing, boating, 3 pavilions, flush toilets, playground, fishing pier, ball diamond.*Dreamland Roller Rink has roller-skating every weekend.*Golf at the Long Prairie Country Club on beautiful 18 hole course, driving range, putting greens, pro shop and lounge. *Long Prairie has one of the few remaining Drive In Theaters, located on the edge of town just off Highway 71.*The Long Prairie River is a great place to sit, fish, and canoe.*Winter activities include cross country skiing, snowmobile trails, ice skating, ice fishing.
