Year-RoundLongville is a popular, picturesque vacation destination because it offers great fishing, boating, water sports, hiking, and biking in the summer and fall, plus cross country skiing, ice fishing, and snowmobiling in the winter and spring. Nature at its finest—crystal clear lakes, towering pines, golden sand beaches, and plentiful wildlife. See deer, fox, cottontail rabbits, loons, eagles, herons, owls and cranes in their natural habitat.

Longville is the official "Turtle Race Capital of the World," hosting popular turtle races each Wednesday, June through August. The community offers a host of events, from Music in the Park, arts and crafts, parades and fireworks, car shows and street dances.
