The Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course, King's Walk, par 72 course is characterized by a rolling terrain with mounds, moguls, pine trees and lakes that give a feeling of the Scottish links. The University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux Hockey team is housed in one of the most breathtaking and versatile middle-sized venues the Midwest has to offer. The Ralph Engelstad Arena, on the campus of the University of North Dakota, is truly a sparkling monument on the prairie. The Alerus Center is a state-of-the-art facility that can host various conventions, exhibitions, meetings and banquets. It also houses a regulation NCAA football and soccer field. Outstanding arts, entertainment and theater abound in Greater Grand Forks with National Touring Companies performing at the Chester Fritz Auditorium, Empire Arts Center or Fire Hall Theater, along with wonderful galleries and musical entertainment. Experience the Downtown area of Greater Grand Forks, which offers many shopping and dining opportunities in a scenic setting along the Red River. Antique and speciality shops in the area carry a wide assortment of items for your shopping pleasure. The River Cities Speedway is one of the best 1/3-mile dirt tracks in the nation, featuring auto racing Outlaw sprints, Wissota late models, and super stocks. The Red River of the North is considered one of the premier channel catfishing spots in the nation, producing up to 30-pound catfish. Our Visitor Center offers information on attractions, accommodations and restaurants, and also houses a gift shop featuring MN/ND souvenirs. We hope you enjoy our "small town" atmosphere and take advantage of our "simply grand" opportunities!
