Cooler temps and less bugs make this a very comfortable event to partake of and bring your cloak. Remember though that this is northern Minnesota and as such the weather can be a bit ornery.

Meet the members of the Willensstark Fahnlein Medieval Camp and the Shieldstone Viking Camp. Sample some authentic medieval food, handle a sword, throw a spear, learn what it took to survive and thrive in northern Europe over 500 years ago!

This event is open to the public and new medieval camps and vendors are welcome to participate!

This year you won’t want to miss the Peasant Pottage Potluck on Saturday!!!

This is a public event and one that we are trying to develop into a larger presentation. The Fall Camp is a little more relaxed and laid back; the cooler weather and no bugs is a great boon and makes pulling out the cloaks and having a warm fire more worthwhile. We put more emphasis on educational workshops and demos. We’ll have a axe throwing competition, spear throwing competition, and maybe even an archery competition if we can get enough people with bows. A big 15th century pottage feed on Saturday, medieval dances, and a period talent contest! Everyone is welcome to attend. Blacksmithing, soldier drill and tactics, weapons and armour display and more.

Camps and Vendors use our contact form for information on our rules and regulations concerning authenticity
