From our scenic parks to some of the best fishing lakes in the state, McGregor's rich natural resources make us one of the most beautiful places in Minnesota during Any season!

However you like to play, in McGregor you can find the perfect family getaway. Located near Big Sandy Lake, Lake Minnewawa and ample forested areas, with four seasons of outdoor recreation, including fishing, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, birding, hiking, cross-country skiing, water sports, and hunting, McGregor is a well-rounded vacation destination.

Two main highways (MN State Hwy. 65 and U.S. Hwy. 210) intersect at McGregor in Aitkin County. Just 63 miles west of Duluth and 120 miles north of the Twin Cities, McGregor is right in the heart of the great north woods. McGregor has the small-town atmosphere with plenty to offer: lodging, dining, entertainment, a K-12 school system, health care services, manufacturing companies & many organizations.

Three community parks, a public library and Isedor-Iverson Airport also compliment the area.
Chamber members represent the wide spectrum of people and types of businesses that comprise McGregor and the surrounding area. Membership includes resorts, camps, retail shops, restaurants, contractors, manufacturers, media, school administration, individuals and non-profit organizations.

Festivals and Community Events are held all year long across the area. We invite you to come and play in our neck of the woods!

Hours: Tuesday-Friday 12pm - 4pm.
