Wildlife refuge/sanctuary preserving and restoring oak savanna, wetland, and prairie opening habitat for an array of wildlife. Bald eagles, sandhill cranes, hawks, loons, ducks and geese may be seen. 2 hiking trails and an auto tour route provide for wildlife viewing pleasure. email: sherburne@fws.gov

  • Directions to Facility / Event: From Princeton, MN take Hwy 169 south 4 miles to the exit for Co. Rd. 9. Go west on Co. 9 four miles to the entrance to the refuge where an information kiosk can be found.
