Year-Round

Savanna Portage State Park is comprised of almost 16,000 acres. Its landscape of rolling hills, mixed hardwoods, pines, and 4 lakes provide many recreation opportunities including hiking, biking, fishing, camping, swimming, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. The varied and beautiful landscape lends itself to a diverse array of plants, animal and birds. We bridge habitats from deep Tamarack and Spruce bog to upland hardwoods of Maple, Oak, Basswood, Birch and Aspen with scattered Wht. Pine
